Ocean Dream has become a PADI International Resort Centre and we running
learn to dive programmes together based on the PADI E Learning
theory course. You make your theory training on-line using the PADI e
Learning system at your own pace and then visit
Sharm to make both confined and open water training on a week cruise.
The perfect way to do the theory course before you go on holiday.

CHRISTMAS PARTY!
We have decided to have a get together before Christmas on Sunday 14th December
a Pizza Pasta Party in Frinton-on-Sea. Cost £15 and bring your own drink.
I have spoken to a few of you and we have 22 spaces left, please let me know
quickly!!
SO WHAT IS PLANNED NEXT?
In the current climate there is considerable concern about more airlines going
bust so we plan to not book flights for our trips until after the New Year.
Let's wait for the dust to settle! My preference is to use BA scheduled services
where possible such as Sardinia in June.
Like you I'm sitting here first week in October looking to the winter ahead,
so let's look forward to diving next year. We are planning a varied programme
but it needs your support to operate..
1st March Spring Ocean Dream Cruise
June dive KT12 off Sardinia
July researching wreck trip to Croatia
19th July Ocean Dream family cruise in the first week of school holidays
6th September Ocean Dream Cruise
Let me know what you are interested in and I will send through more details
as they become available so keep in touch.
LATEST DIVE REPORT....OCEAN DREAM SHARM
XL went bust but despite lossing our flights we managed to
get to Sharm!
Well that was an interesting trip!
XL went bust one week before we traveled and we needed to get new flights
quick. Prices into Sharm rocketed with very few around. So we decided to go
via Cario on BA and make a six hour coach transfer through the night taking
in the sights and sounds of Cairo!
Arriving tired at Sharm we were soon diving and visited Abu Nuhas and some
great drift diving on the reefs with strong currents on several sites. The
engine room of the tile wreck was many people's favorite dive of the week
but the fast drift (we covered Shag Rock from one end to the other) was certainly
exhilerating! Several of the divers completed Rescue Diver open water drills.
A great week's diving but all too soon we were on the coach for our return
to Cairo. We anticipated being stopped five or six times at check points on
the way back to Cairo but after the first one we were just waved through at
all the other checkpoints. Not our prefered routing to Sharm but the BA flight
was excellent.
